FASHION STAGE DESIGN
NMU, 2017, third year collaboration with Julia Beth Olsen
The project brief was to create a stage design to be housed in the Tramways building, a local heritage building in Port Elizabeth. The "client" was to be a local South African designer and the client requirements were to design a stage that is specific to the designers brand and style. As a collaborative duo we embarked on drawing inspiration from the fashion design and his subject matter. Some of my responsibilities included hand renderings, assembling the laser cut cardboard model and poster layouts, pictured at the end of this presentation. Julia made use of her photography licence and photographed and edited the renders pictured in this presentation as well as drawing up all CAD works.
HOME MAKERS DESIGN
NMU, 2017, third year collaboration with Julia Beth Olsen and Aimee Newman
The brief outline was to design an interactive atrium design for the entrance hall of the annual HomeMakers expo in Port Elizabeth. After a short collaborative design process our group project was chosen out of our class by the HomeMakers organizing team. Some of my roles in the duration of the project along with my team mates was design development, material selection and project management of the build.
